Buying your first grooming practice model? A replacement coat will still leave you needing a frame. Before choosing a coat, decide whether you need a wig-and-frame pair or a replacement for a frame you already own.
Start with the frame you have—or need
- You do not have a practice frame: B2H’s grey grooming practice model includes a full-body grey wig and a supplied Teddy frame, sold together. Choose this branch when you need both pieces.
- You have a frame you want to keep: Consider a coat-only option after checking the frame’s identity and connection points. B2H’s grey replacement practice coat contains one full-body coat, without a frame.
- You have a frame but cannot identify it: Find its label, model name or original order first. If those details are missing, say so when asking about a replacement. Do not choose by grey color or the word “Teddy” alone.
Turn “will it fit?” into one useful question
Before ordering a replacement, collect the frame’s brand and model details, a photo of the whole frame and clear photos of its coat connection points. Keep the name or link of the coat you are considering alongside them. A full-body display photo tells you what is pictured; check the listing’s included items to see whether a frame comes with it.
Copy this into a message to the seller. Fill in what you have; leave missing details clearly marked rather than guessing.
My existing frame’s brand/model: [exact name, or “I cannot identify it”] Label or original order/listing: [details available] Photos I can share: [whole frame and coat connection points] Coat I am considering: [exact product name or link] Can you check whether this coat matches this frame before I order?
Ask about that specific frame and coat together. A shared family name does not answer every fit question. If you cannot establish the match, keep the replacement decision open rather than ordering on appearance alone.
Plan the rest of your practice setup
The wig-and-frame pair supplies those two pieces. The replacement option supplies the coat only. Neither includes grooming tools, clippers, a table or stand, or a course; scene props are not included with the model pair.
Before checkout, write down where you will practice, which tools you already have and which instructions or course you intend to follow. If you are buying for a course, compare its equipment requirements with the selected listing before adding extras. Arrange the missing parts separately.
Your next step can be simple: choose the pair when you need its wig and supplied frame, or finish the frame-and-coat check when replacing a coat. For help with B2H’s option, send us the frame details and your specific coat question.
