How do I fit it?

Use an existing sound, stable post or table support. Position the panel against the scratching area and close the three hook-and-loop straps around the support. Check that the fasteners engage and the panel stays in position before offering it to your cat. If the straps cannot close securely, choose a different size or solution.

Can it replace a worn scratching post?

It replaces a wearable scratching surface only. Check the support, base and fixings first. Repair or replace a loose or damaged support before use; covering it does not restore its structure.
