BEFORE YOU CHOOSE

A few things worth knowing.

Which configuration is this?

This is the 80 cm woven sisal-mat configuration, with the pictured wood-finish plates, two hanging pom balls and stepped ball-track base.

How tall is the scratching post?

Nominal dimensions are approximately 80 cm overall height, a 35 × 35 cm base and an 18 cm column diameter. Overall height includes the base and top cap; it is not 80 cm of usable scratching surface.

Is the surface sisal mat or wrapped rope?

This page is for the woven sisal-mat configuration, not a rope-wrapped version. The photos show the tan-and-cream woven surface.

Where should I place the post?

Consider the scratching surfaces and positions your cat already uses when choosing a place for the post.
