  1. Identify the registry

    Use a veterinary scan record, adoption record or other owner-held record to identify the chip number, then enter it only into an official registry lookup route.

  2. Use the registry's owner route

    Open the registry named by the lookup and use its official sign-in, phone or support process. B2H does not log in or update it for you.

  3. Verify the current route

    Confirm the registry can reach the contact route you intend to use, then tell a backup household member where the private record is kept.
